I feel the design has a calm feel as it combines wisdom (owl) with grace and movement and elegance. The ideal size, according to me, is 7 to 8 inches, maybe even 9 inches, so the details remain crisp. If you wish to get this as a large piece, the ideal size would be around 12 to 14 inches. A medium-sized tattoo of around 8 to 10 inches is possible, but the artist will need to simplify the feather details.
